29th Judicial District Court returns to Courthouse




All court appearances for all divisions of court in the 29th Judicial District will now take place at the courthouse in Hahnville located at 15045 River Road. All courtrooms have been updated and are ready to hold court.

NOTICE: Clerk of Court Relocates Temporarily

Beginning Monday, June 10, 2024, the St. Charles Parish Clerk of Court will be temporarily located at 13899 River Road in Luling, Louisiana, which is the site of the former temporary courtroom for the 29th JDC. This relocation is due to courthouse renovations on the first floor. The clerk’s mailing address remains the same. For additional information, please visit their website here.

ABOUT THE 29th JDC

The 29th Judicial District Court has original jurisdiction of all civil, criminal, and juvenile matters, and appellate jurisdiction from all justice of the peace courts in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. There are three elected divisions of court, each having general jurisdiction. In addition, the Court maintains a specialty court program - Adult Drug Court - as well as a Families In Need of Services diversion program.
